5 types of subscription apps
See, below, the selection of the five options of digital signature applications.
1 – Adobe Reader
You can use Adobe Reader to sign documents for free on your Android phone or iPhone (iOS). The application is available in Portuguese and requires a login with data from a Gmail, Facebook or Apple account associated with an Adobe ID.
After registration, click on “Fill and Sign” on the main screen of the platform and select the file that will receive the digital signature. Adobe Reader only accepts files in PDF format.
Users can choose to draw the signature online with a virtual pen, insert an image or take a photo of the digital signature. Signed documents can be shared via email or messenger. Another option is to save the document in the cell phone gallery or in the cloud. Digital signatures are stored in Adobe Reader and can be inserted into other documents through the application. 2 – Office Mobile
Office Mobile also has a dedicated section that performs free digital signing of documents on Android and iPhone (iOS). First, you need to be signed in with your Microsoft account details to use these subscription apps.
Like Adobe Reader, Office Mobile only signs documents in PDF format. To digitally sign, open the “Actions” section in the bottom menu and click “Sign PDF”. Select the desired file and sign it by touching your phone screen.
The tool can also move the signature to any space in the document and change the color of the stroke used. With the file finished, you can save the signature for later use and share the file with other Messenger users. (See more information about the app).
3 – Assine manuscrito digital – PDF
Other signature apps is Sign Digital Handwriting – PDF, available for Android only. The platform can be used without logging in, just type “More” on the home page to sign the order. The tool only accepts PDF files from memory cards or storage applications like Google Drive.
Digital signatures are made with a virtual pen controlled by your fingertips. The documents signed by Assine Manuscrito Digital – PDF can be saved on the cell phone or sent through social networks. (See more information about the app).
4 – DocuSign
The free version of DocuSign for Android and iPhone (iOS) allows free access with email and password login. You can open PDF or image files saved on your phone or from other apps like Google Drive.
Printed documents can still be scanned with your phone's camera to log into the app. Tap “More” to scan the document and select the “Sign Now” option to sign with a virtual pen.
Documents are saved in the phone's memory or sent on social networks. The free version of DocuSign allows you to forward three signature files. The app does not allow taking screenshots during the subscription process. (See more information about the app).
5 – Adobe Fill & Sign
Anyone looking for digitally signing apps for Android or iPhone (iOS) can use Adobe Fill & Sign. It allows you to quickly sign and send documents without registering in the application. PDF files can be modified in photo gallery or scanned and printed documents.
Signatures are made with a virtual pen and can be inserted anywhere in the document. After signing, the file is converted into a PDF that can be shared with other apps or saved to your phone. (See more information about the app).
