How does the Digital Traffic Card work?

The authenticity, reliability and integrity of the digital CNH and CRLV can be verified without the need for internet access, using the Vio application. Verification through any other application, which has not been developed by Serpro or ordered by Denatran, does not guarantee the integrity of the data contained in the CDT.
If the data read by the QR Code is different from the information displayed on the CNH or CRLV (digital or printed), this is a possible forgery. The printed copies of the CNH Digital and CRLV Digital, even with the digital signature of the Detran, only have the value of a certified copy and, therefore, do not replace the printed CNH and CRLV.

What are the advantages of the Digital Traffic Card?
Forgot your driver's license at home? Everything is fine.
You just need to have your cell phone with you. But you need to have done your homework: download your National Driver's License before leaving home and make sure your cell phone is charged, of course. The digital version of the document will be accepted even if you are stopped at a roadblock.

- Fill in the CPF and password registered on the Senatran website;
- Validate the registration data. The interested party may choose to validate the data in the application, on the Senatran website with a digital certificate, or at the Detran-MG service unit;
- To validate the data in the application, inform the zip code of the driver's address, registered with the Detran-MG;
- Scan the QR Code of your CNH;
- Make the facial reading, following the instructions described in the application;
- Enter your cell phone number and click “Finish”. The CNH-e will be displayed.
