How to access a dental implant through the SUS
As the Brasil Sorridente program is a SUS initiative, anyone has access to dental implants free of charge. However, low-income citizens are preferred.
First, to be contemplated with the benefit, it is necessary to access the site from Brazil smiling. There you can check if your region already has the dental implant service available through SUS.
So, if your region already has the Brasil Sorridente program, you can request your implant at the Health Center. Right after checking the nearest location, just go there with your SUS card.
Then, at the health center you will register to schedule your first appointments. Sometimes the call may take some time, but this will give you time to prepare for the implant.
